The carpool contact list is designed help members of the Rice community find other individuals interested in carpooling. For the privacy and safety of those who post, a Rice NetID is required before posting and viewing other member's information.

The carpool contact list is designed to help members of the Rice community find other individuals interested in carpooling. For the privacy and safety of those who post their information, a Rice Net ID is required for posting and viewing other members’ information.

Carpools consist of two or more Rice employees or students and must be registered with the Rice Parking Office. One permit (decal or hang tag) is given per carpool, and one proxy card is issued for each carpool member in the same lot. The initial Zipcar registration fee of $35 is waived for each member of a carpool. To ENTER the Carpool site:

• Click the “carpool contact list” link
• User Name: Type your Net ID user name.
  • Password: Type your Net ID password
  • If a "Domain" field appears: type adrice

• If you know your login is correct but access is denied:
• • type: adrice\  before your username
  • try using your Ad Rice password (if it is different from your Net ID password)

• Don’t know about or never used your AD Rice account?

• Visit:  apply.rice.edu
• Click “Account Application New User” (Even if you are not “new” to Rice)
• Fill out the personal information and set your password
• Note: the password you set will be your password for
  apply.rice.edu, dialup, vpn, osx, and jabber
